Ouma faced the challenge of digitizing the sensitive and complex process of maternal healthcare. They needed a HIPAA-compliant platform that was easy for expectant mothers to use while providing powerful tools for doctors to manage appointments and medical records.
We built a secure, HIPAA-compliant web application using Next.js and PostgreSQL. We integrated Twilio for secure messaging and video calls, and AWS S3 for encrypted document storage. The UI was designed with a focus on accessibility and ease of use for pregnant women.
